Audio-Technica ATH-M40x [Review]

The Audio-Technica ATH-M40x are respectable headphones with exceptional, recording studio-quality sound. They think strong and therefore are fairly secure but supply no control alternatives for your sound. Additionally, they only supply indirect solitude, which is probably not enough to bar the sound of some listeners’ commutes.

Style

The Audio-Technica M40X possesses a subtle studio room design and style which may appear a bit mundane for many. They already have an all-dark color structure with silver illustrates on the rear of the oval ears cups. Their layout is nearly the same as the ATH-M50x. They search very good but offer you nothing at all impressive using their design.

Comfort

The big ear canal cups of the ATH-M40x fully encompass the ears and you should not utilize excessive stress on the brain. They also swivel, which makes them very easy to adapt. These are more comfortable than the Beyerdynamic DT 770 but the padding useful for the headband and ear canal mugs is a bit firm and squeak when moving or modifying the headsets on your mind.

Controls

Audio-Technica ATH-M40x doesn’t have any controls on any of its earcup.

Portability

The ATH-M40X, just like the ATH-M30X, are decently easily transportable headsets. These are in the bigger aspect in excess of-ear earphones but collapse into a lot more portable structure which will fit in a backpack or handbag and often will be too big for almost all shirt pockets. The heavy or very long audio cable television is also a tad complicated to carry around but unlike the reduced-end kind of the series are easily removed.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • Sound Quality
  • Comfort
  • Construction quality
Cons
  • Bulky

Verdict

Below average overall design. They might execute reasonably well as everyday earbuds but lack a significant manage structure, and the indirect solitude is a little weak.
