The Mixcder E9 is a decent pair of inexpensive headphones that do a nice job. Their overall audio reproduction is good, and their ANC system is also extremely effective. They have ample battery life to last all day, and their design is quite comfortable to wear for long periods of time. They do, however, have a plasticky feel to them, despite the fact that they aren’t as cheap as some other headphones in their price category. On the plus side, they offer a fantastic and simple control mechanism, as well as shockingly low latency for Bluetooth headphones. These headphones have been modified by Mixcder to include Bluetooth 5.0 capability. We don’t know if this new model functions similarly to the one we tried because it supports Bluetooth 4.0.

Style
Because of the metal-like cup shape, the E9 has a sleek appearance. Because these over-ears are only available in black, they are very uninteresting otherwise. The mugs are also rather huge. They’re big and clunky, yet the cushioning is substantial and pleasant.
Comfort
The Mixcder E9 are lightweight headphones that may be used for extended periods of time. They’re not too heavy, and the cup cushioning is adequate and comfy. The headband is cushioned and similar to those of the Bose QuietComfort 35 II. The cups might be a little bigger, but they should fit most ear shapes and sizes. The headphones are a little hefty, but they aren’t too tight, and the cups have a good range of motion, which is fantastic.
Controls
The control method on these headphones is excellent. Physical buttons are big and clicky, making them simple to operate. You may also use the power button to play/pause music and make phone calls. You may quickly increase or decrease the level, and when you reach the maximum or lowest volume, an audio cue will sound. The volume controls may be held down to skip tracks forward and backward. If you wish to go back to the previous songs, you must be quick, otherwise your music will be restarted instead. The power button might potentially be placed in a more convenient location. You’ll also find a separate ANC switch on the left cup, which is powered independently of the headphones, so be sure to turn it off after turning them off.
Portability
The E9 over-ears are very big, but they can be folded into a more compact shape that is simpler to take along. Their cups swivel to lay flat, making them easy to slip into a purse or wear around your neck. For when you’re on the go, they also come with a lovely protective case.
Case
The E9 is packaged in a lovely protective case. It’s a little thin and seems a little less expensive than some other versions, but it’s still sturdy. It offers enough protection against scratches, drops, and water for the headphones.
Build Quality
The E9 has a decent build quality. The headband is strengthened with a small metal plate, and the hinges are good and don’t seem like they’ll break. The general construction, though, is a little plasticky, and the ear cups are wrapped in cheap-feeling synthetic leather.
Stability
The Mixcder E9 is rather solid, although it isn’t ideal for sports. They remain on the head rather well, but with enough head movement, they can easily come off. They aren’t meant for jogging, but their wireless design eliminates the chance of a cord becoming tangled or caught on anything and tugging the headphones off your head.
Noise Isolation
The Mixcder E9 has a good noise isolation performance. It performs well against bass frequencies, which are where engine rumbling occurs, making it a feasible solution for commuting and trips. They also perform a good job of blocking out background noise, which is important in an office atmosphere. They perform a decent job of filtering out noise at high frequencies like S and T noises, as well as noise from an A/C system.
Battery
Bluetooth is supported on the E9, though it is the outdated 4.0 version. They don’t allow multi-device or NFC pairing, which is a bummer, and their latency is high across the board. The TREBLAB Z2 Wireless are a pair of similarly performance headphones that additionally enable aptX-LL for a low latency connection.
Wired
The E9 wired may be used with the provided audio cable. When you plug your headphones into a headphone jack, regardless of the console or device, you’ll hear sound. When the audio wire is connected in, however, you can’t utilise the built-in microphone.
Verdict
The audio reproduction of the Mixcder E9 is excellent, and it will fit most music genres. They also provide good isolation, which is useful for commuting and working at the workplace. Because of their bulk and lack of breathability, they may not be the finest sports option, but they may work well regardless of how you use them. Although their wireless design isn’t great for viewing videos or playing games, its latency is minimal for Bluetooth headphones, so users may not feel the delay.
